The Thunder face a crisis following another offensive collapse in San Antonio
Oklahoma City hoped to finish the Western Conference Finals in six games, but the night unraveled fast. The defending champs were blown out 118–91, and now they’re headed for a high‑pressure, winner‑take‑all Game 7.

The Thunder trailed by 13 points after the opening frame and never mounted a serious threat the rest of the way. Oklahoma City's offense was lethargic, to put it nicely. The road team shot 36.8 percent from the field and just 25 percent from 3-point range.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the back-to-back league MVP, had another tough night against the Spurs' defense. In fact, he had more shot attempts (18) than points (15), and finished with a minus-28 rating. Jared McCain scored 13 points and dished out six assists.
San Antonio stays alive thanks to an impactful performance from Wembanyama
Prior to this postseason, the Spurs had not hosted a playoff game in nine years. Additionally, they faced a series deficit for just the second time during their current playoff run.
Needing a win to avoid elimination, they came out with urgency and force from the opening tip. The result was a dominant 118-91 victory, sending the series back to Oklahoma City leveled at 3-3.
San Antonio saw a double-digit lead trimmed to seven at intermission. But thanks to a 20-0 run in the third quarter, the home team outscored its opponent 32-13 in the frame en route to an easy 27-point win.
With his team needing a signature performance, Victor Wembanyama answered the call. He finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals. And if those numbers aren't impressive enough, the generational star also shot 4-for-9 from beyond the arc.
After another rough outing away from home, the question looms: can the Thunder regroup, or are the Spurs poised to reach their first NBA Finals since 2014?
