There were a couple rough spots highlighted by a 3-game losing streak at one point but Kansas (24-5) seems to have turned things back around, winners of six straight and up to #3 in the country heading into Tuesday’s meeting with Texas Tech (16-13). The Red Raiders have upset on their minds – but have also lost 7 of the last 8 head to head matchups.

Before Betting on Texas Tech vs Kansas

The Red Raiders had been playing solid basketball with four straight wins that included taking down then #12 Kansas State and then #6 Texas while also getting road victories at Oklahoma and West Virginia. Things came back to reality a bit over the weekend though with TTU falling 83-82 at home to #24 TCU.

Kansas was in disarray when they dropped four of six during a span starting in mid-January, but the defending national champions have regained their form as of late. The Jayhawks’ last two wins have been on the closer side in a 63-58 victory at TCU and then beating West Virginia 76-74 over the weekend so are the -9 points too many to be giving?

Kansas has the opportunity to celebrate with their own fans on Tuesday night as a victory would give them another Big 12 regular season conference crown. That would be #21 in 27 years of the Big 12 being around so it’s been a pretty dominant stretch for KU.

Texas Tech vs Kansas Prediction & Pick

Texas Tech is playing better late in the year and picked up two tough road wins as underdogs during their recent 4-game win streak. Not saying the Red Raiders get the upset in Lawrence where KU is 14-1 on the year, but Texas Tech can stay competitive here.

Pick: Texas Tech +9.5
