Before Betting On Sharks vs Predators

The San Jose Sharks and Nashville Predators clash on two occasions over the opening weekend of the season, with both fixtures being played at the O2 Arena in Prague. This season’s NHL campaign is opened on Friday evening, with both sides looking to get off to winning start this term.

The San Jose Sharks has enjoyed a fairly decent pre-season, as they picked up wins in four of the five games that they played. Their only defeat was suffered on the road against the Anaheim Ducks. However, they recovered from that loss to beat the Vegas Golden Knights on the road last weekend.

The Sharks ran out comfortable 7-3 winners in that fixture, with four of their goals being scored in the second period. Danil Gushchin was the star of the show in that fixture, as he scored three goals. Erik Karlsson also found the net, while Luke Kunin and Matt Benning also scored in the win.

Meanwhile, the Nashville Predators will be looking to avenge their playoff display from last season, as they were knocked out in the opening round. Their pre-season has been relatively good, as they have picked up three wins from the four games that they have played. Their three wins have also been secured in their previous three fixtures.

The latest win for the Predators in pre-season was secured against the Tampa Bay Lightning, with Nashville running out 7-1 winners. Matt Duchene and Tanner Jeannot both scored twice in that win.
