The United States will be looking to bounce back from a humbling defeat on Tuesday evening, as they take on Saudi Arabia. It will be America’s last warm-up game before their World Cup opener in November against Wales.

Before Betting On Saudi Arabia vs USA

This looks to be a big huge game for the U.S. and their coach Gregg Berhalter on Tuesday evening, as they will need an immediate response after being humbled by Japan on Friday. The U.S. preparations for the World Cup in just under two months were knocked drastically in that fixture, as they never threatened to look like scoring and also looked vulnerable defensively throughout.

The U.S. went 1-0 down after 25 minutes, as Daichi Kamada opened the scoring for Japan. Things got even worse with just two minutes remaining, as Kaoru Mitoma scored the second goal of the game for the Japanese. A rethink will be needed by Berhalter in this fixture, as the World Cup edges ever closer.

Saudi Arabia are also building up towards the World Cup last this year, but they should come into this fixture in good confidence. They have looked reliable defensively against some big nations in recent months, which includes a 1-0 defeat against Colombia.

Over the past 12 months, they have also recorded a victory against Australia. In their most recent fixture, they played out a 0-0 draw against Ecuador. However, scoring goals seems to be a huge issue for this Saudi Arabian side.

The USA can’t afford to lose another game before the World Cup gets underway. This doesn’t appear as though it will be an entertaining fixture, which means under 2.5 goals looks a safe bet. However, we expect the USA to edge towards a victory.
