  • Vincius Junior scores fourth UCL goal
  • Rafael Leao runs the show
  • Alvaro Morata scores on return to Madrid

Real Madrid’s poor Champions League form continued as they lost 3-1 to Italian giants AC Milan.

Real Madrid’s leaky defence in the Champions League continued, as it was AC Milan on the scoresheet within 20 minutes. Defender Malick Thiaw saw his free header hit the back of the net from a Christian Pulisic corner.

The standard Real inevitability wouldn’t take long to strike. Vinicius Junior was taken down by former Spurs defender Emerson Royal and made no mistake from the spot, bringing his side level.

AC Milan weren’t down for long, Real’s midfield collapsed, allowing Rafael Leao to turn and shoot, Andriy Lunin parried, but straight into the path of his former teammate Alvaro Morata to smash home and restore the Italian sides lead.

Tijjani Reijnders rounded up the win after Rafael Leao set him up with a super run. Antonio Rudiger though he had one back late on, but VAR had other ideas.
