Orange Bowl: Miami Hurricanes vs. Wisconsin Badgers

In the Orange Bowl on Saturday – the Miami Hurricanes will take on the Wisconsin Badgers. The Miami Hurricanes are at home for this game, as they will play at Hard Rock Stadium. The Miami Hurricanes won their first 10 games of the season, but then fell in back to back games to end the regular season. The Hurricanes fell to Clemson in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game.

For the Wisconsin Badgers – they ran the table with 12 straight wins. The Badgers went to the Big Ten title game ans were smacked around by Ohio State. The Badgers finished the season with a 12-1 record, and ranked 6th in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Wisconsin Badgers are -5 over the Miami Hurricanes in the Orange bowl on Saturday night.

Wisconsin Seeking 13th Win

The Wisconsin Badgers saw their quarterback Alex Hornibrook have a pretty up and down season. The quarterback was marred with interceptions for much of the season. The Badgers won their three non conference games over Utah State, Florida Atlantic and Brigham Young by an average of 33.3 points per game. Wisconsin during the Big Ten season only had two games within single digits.

Jonathan Taylor was an elite running back for the Badgers. The freshman rushed the football for more than 1,40 yards and 13 touchdowns. Tony Fumagali was the top receiver for the Badgers with 43 receptions and 4 touchdowns. The Badgers defense is third in all of College Football, as they allowed teams to score just 13.2 points per game.

Hurricanes Looking to Bounce Back

Mark Richt and his Miami Hurricanes were known this season for the turnover chain. The defense prided themselves on getting the big turnovers. They did that in the first 10 games of the season, but struggled to do that in losses to Pittsburgh and Clemson. The offense also went missing in those two losses as well, scoring just 17 total points.

Malik Rosier was the starting quarterback for the Hurricanes this season, and he wrapped up a season where he tossed for 2,917 yards and 25 touchdowns. Travis Homer needs 98 yards on the ground to reach 1,000 this season and Braxton Berrios is the top receiver for the Hurricanes with 9 touchdowns. Miami scored 29.5 points per game and allowed 19.9.

Hurricanes Blow Past Badgers

The Miami Hurricanes are built for games like this. The world is looking at the other team, and the Hurricanes are more talented of a football team. But, since back to back losses – most are counting the Hurricanes out of it. Wisconsin is going to have a tough time moving the football on the Hurricanes, and the Miami offense is going to re-find their groove. The Hurricanes have the home crowd advantage in this game as well. Bet on the Miami Hurricanes +5 over the Wisconsin Badgers in the Orange Bowl on Saturday as part of the College Football bowl season.
