All of the attention this weekend may be on the North London and Manchester Derbies, but there is a huge East Midlands derby also set for the 20th round of fixtures. Leicester earned the bragging rights in the first meeting between the sides at the King Power Stadium, but Nottingham Forest will be gunning for revenge at the City Ground.

Before Betting On Nottingham Forest vs Leicester

This will be a moment that all Nottingham Forest fans have been looking forward to this weekend, as they will host Leicester for the first time since 2014. On that occasion, the sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, while Forest have lost just one of the previous 17 derbies that they have played at home against Leicester.

The hosts should come into the game in a positive mood, as they have moved themselves out of the relegation places after losing just once in their previous four. They have won twice over that period, which included a huge 1-0 win away from home against Southampton in their previous Premier League fixture.

The City Ground hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for Leicester in Premier League history, as they are yet to score an away goal against Forest in three visits. Two of the previous three matches between the sides at the City Ground have ended in 1-0 wins for Forest.

Leicester sit level on points with Forest coming into the match, but they still remain just two points above the drop zone after 18 rounds of fixtures. The Foxes have lost their previous three matches in the Premier League, which includes their latest loss against Fulham at the King Power last week. They also come into this having been beaten in the EFL Cup in their last match by Newcastle United.

This will be a huge fixture for Forest, and the City Ground will be bouncing on Saturday. They made more history by reaching a first EFL Cup semi-final in 30 years in midweek, and that feel-good mood could continue with a success over their East Midlands rivals this weekend.
