The Monday Night Football game features a pair of NFC North teams that are struggling right now. The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions will mix it up at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Coming into the game, the Green Bay Packers are 4-3, but have dropped 2 straight games. The Detroit Lions are 3-4 on the season, and are looking to avoid looking their fourth straight loss.

Packers Turning to Hundley

Brett Hundley is back as the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Hundley took over in the loss to Minnesota following the Aaron Rodgers injury. Then, he played in the loss to the Saints. After a week off, the signal caller will look to improve upon his numbers. The Packers have scored 164 points on the season and allowed opponents to score 161.

Green Bay’s running back situation has turned to Aaron Jones as the top running back. Jones has 346 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns thus far in 2017. He took over for T.Y. Montgomery, who has been injured for much of the season. The top receiver for Green Bay this season has been DaVante Adams, with 351 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Packers will take on a divisional rival in Week 10, as they head to Chicago to take on the Bears.

Lions Desperate for a Win

The Detroit Lions are desperate for a win, after losing games to the Panthers, Saints and Steelers. In those three games, the Lions allowed 33 points per game. The defense on the season has allowed 24.1 points per game, while the offense has scored more than 25 per game. The Lions passing game is 12th in the league, with more than 242 yards per game. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has thrown for 12 touchdowns this season, with 2 of them going to Golden Tate. The running game for the Lions has been woeful this season, with 82.1 yards per game.

Detroit hopes to see their softer part of the schedule benefit them, as they will host the Cleveland Browns, and go on the road to the Chicago Bears in their next two games. The Lions started the season with back to back wins over the Cardinals and the Giants. The other win for the Lions this season came on the road at the Minnesota Vikings, where they held them to just 7 points.

Packers Beat Lions

The Green Bay Packers may not have their quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but they still have plenty of weapons to take down the Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford and the Detroit offense has been a little off, specifically in the latest loss to the Steelers. The Lions lack of run game is going to be the negative key towards them.
