The National Football League will turn it’s attention to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Thursday for the start of Week 15. The Indianapolis Colts host the Denver Broncos in a battle of two teams from the AFC that are not reaching the postseason. The Indianapolis Colts are 3-10, and only ahead of the Cleveland Browns in the AFC. The Colts are a game behind third place Houston in the AFC South. Indianapolis is 2-4 this season at home, and coming off a loss in Buffalo.

For the Denver Broncos, they are 4-9 on the season. The Broncos are in last in the AFC West, two games behind third place Oakland. The Broncos are also coming off a win, over the New York Jets. Denver has yet to win a game on the road in 2017. The Denver Broncos are -2 over the Indianapolis Colts as part of the National Football League Week 15 Thursdsay Night Football affair.

Colts Defense Among the Worst

The Indianapolis Colts have one of the worst defensive units in all of the National Football League. Indianapolis is giving up 26.4 points per game on the season. The Colts held the Buffalo Bills to just 13 last week, but lost the game in the snow. Indianapolis in the previous three losses allowed 23.3 points per game.

The offense for Indianapolis is anchored by Jacoby Brissett. Andrew Luck was not ready to start the season, so Scott Tolzien got the start. After Tolzien was awful in Week 1, the former Patriots backup got the nod. Brissett needs 389 yards to reach 3,000 on the season. Brissett has thrown 11 touchdown passes, with 4 of them coming to T.Y. Hilton. Hilton is 189 yards shy of 1,000 on the season.

Broncos Defense Back on Track

The Denver Broncos would love to see their defense get back on track. The Broncos won three out of their first four games of the season, and allowed just 15.6 points per game in those games. Since then, Denver has moved to 24th in the league allowing more than 24 per game. The Broncos showed signs of getting back on track with a 23-0 win over the Jets last week.

The offense for the Broncos has seen Trevor Siemian take most of the snaps behind center. The quarterback has 2,218 yards passing and 12 touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas has been the top target with 68 receptions, 771 yards and 4 touchdowns. Denver will finish the season at the Redskins and at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Broncos Win on the Road

The Denver Broncos have yet to win on the road all season, but this seems like the time they can get on the board. The Denver defense should be able to do much of what they did to the Jets, to the Colts in this game. The Colts offense is pretty limited. Then for the Broncos offense, if they can get C.J. Anderson going – and then open it up to DeMaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, they will be in business. Bet on the Denver Broncos -2 over the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday  in National Football League action.
