Bucks vs Nets Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks face the Brooklyn Nets in the East semis, which should be a delight for every NBA fan across the world. Both teams have a clear goal for this season – to win the NBA title, regardless of the obstacles on the road. Giannis, Middleton, Holiday, will try to stop and defeat arguably the strongest super-team in history so far, Durant, Irving, and Harden. For the first time over the past several years, all the hype is around one match in the East, and we have to tell you that we like that.

Bucks vs Nets Odds

Some New Bucks

There are some minor changes in the roster compared to the previous season, but the Bucks’ play system is much different. Budenholzer implemented a few things where we still have Giannis in the middle, but with other players having more important roles than before.

That is easy to see from the stats. The Greek Freak has a slightly higher scoring average than Middleton, 23.5 to 21.5, and his playing time is lower than before, with Middleton and Jrue Holiday matching it. That is something new here, because, in the previous seasons, it was all about the Giannis.

All this became possible after Holiday’s arrival because the veteran point guard took many duties off the two-time MVP. The ball is in his possession during the attacks, which allows Giannis to save energy and to be more productive in other areas. Also, it opened up space for Middleton, who blossomed over the past several months.

Can Anyone Stop The Big Three?

Irving, Harden, and Durant score 85.2 points per game in the series against the Celtics. To be honest, some teams would score fewer buckets against the Cs this year.

Still, all this is possible when you have such ferocious attackers on the floor, and especially now when James Harden plays the best basketball of his life. It might sound odd to you, but that is the case. You see, the Beard plays an instrumental and manages to keep the balance in the team, distributing the ball in accordance with the flow on the court.

He has 27.8 points, 10.6 assists, and 7.2 boards, plus two steals, and that needs to be acknowledged. Harden often stays on the floor with the second unit, and the Nets don’t experience any drop in the performance.

Bucks vs Nets Head to Head

Brooklyn won the opening match of the regular season series, and after that, the Bucks posted two wins in a row. Each team defended the home-court advantage.

Bucks vs Nets Prediction and Pick

We see that the home-court advantage has a massive influence when these two teams play. We will follow the pattern from the regular part of the campaign and suggest betting on the Nets’ win, without the spread. It is safer, and even though the odds are shorter, there is no need to take any risk in matches like this one.
