Celtics Have No Room For Mistakes

With 27 wins and 26 losses, the Boston Celtics currently occupy the seventh position in the conference, which leads to the play-in tournament. That’s something this crew didn’t expect when the season started, as they aimed much higher positions, let alone a playoff appearance.

For them, every game is a finale, and each win is worth gold. The Heat, who are sixth, are just half a game ahead, Hornets who sit fourth one game, meaning that the Cs don’t have too much space for making mistakes.

Boston won the latest two contests, against the Knicks, 101-99, and the Timberwolves, 145-136 after overtime. As you see, both games ended closely in their favor. We need to mention that Jayson Tatum dropped 53 points against the T-Wolves, becoming the youngest Celtics player in history to score 50+points.

Denver’s Rampage

The Nuggets won the last 8 games, setting a perfect tone for the remaining part of the season. Jokic and the crew trashed the San Antonio Spurs in the latest back-to-back matches, with the most recent finishing 121-119 in their favor.

Jokic, the top candidate for the MVP award, was unstoppable, posting another triple-double with 26 points, 14 assists, and 13 rebounds, once again amazing the fans. Right now, the Joker is unstoppable, smashing and bashing his rivals and guards with a routine that hasn’t been seen before.

Michael Porter Jr was excellent, 22 points and 10 boards, with the youngster reaching a superb level with the season getting closer to its end. MPJ averages 20.9 points with 8.5 boards and 56.5% shooting from the field, and 56% for three.

Boston Celtics vs Denver Nuggets Prediction

The Nuggets are favorites in this match, and everything points towards their win on Sunday afternoon. Celtics are unstable and still look shaky, while on the other side, Michael Malone’s guys are firing on all cylinders. Even though this presents the derby of the day, our suggestion is to bet on the hosts’ routine victory.
