With the Serie A trophy on their minds, Napoli players have no intention of slowing down. They’re in a superb run and they want to keep it going for as long as possible. That said, beating AS Roma on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 2:45 p.m. (Eastern Time) is an absolute priority for Luciano Spalletti’s team.

The trouble is that finding the net against the in-form team led by legendary Jose Mourinho won’t be easy. Still, we do think Victor Oshimen & Co. can pull it off, and if you’d like to witness their exploits, you can watch the Napoli vs AS Roma game on Paramount+.

And if you’d like to bet on the Serie A mega-clash, you can do it at a number of different offshore sportsbooks. But before you put any money on Napoli vs AS Roma, make sure to read our betting preview first!

Before Betting on Napoli vs AS Roma

It’s been 33 years since Napoli won the Italian Serie A title the last time. However, the Sky Blues from Naples are on a very good road to winning their first league trophy since the days of Diego Maradona.

They are 12 points ahead of the second-placed team (AC Milan), but the trouble is that we’re only at the halfway point of the 2022-23 season – 19 rounds have passed and there are another 19 to go.

Knowing this, it’s clear that Spalletti’s boys will want to cash in on their recent superb form and add as many Serie A wins as possible. Unfortunately for them, AS Roma have been terrific as well lately, but there’s one major advantage the Neapolitans have.

Sunday’s Napoli vs AS Roma game is played at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. That’s where they’re undefeated in Serie A this season, with an 8-1-0 record.

AS Roma’s score differential in Serie A is 25-16, which shows that this team is all about defense (as you’d expect from a Mourinho side). Meanwhile, Napoli are great in all aspects of the game. They’ve scored 46 goals so far (more than any other Serie A team) and conceded just 14 (fewer than any other Italian side).

Knowing this, it’s only logical to assume Napoli are going to beat Roma on Sunday.
