Louisville (4-27, 2-18) can completely salvage their season with a nice run in the ACC Tournament, but maybe it’s best to just end the worst Cardinals campaign since the 1940/41 season. Boston College (15-16, 9-11) will take that, as they had a nice run in the conference tourney last year winning two games and then suffering a buzzer-beating loss to Miami.

Before Betting on Louisville vs Boston College

Boston College missed out on the bye thanks to a 73-65 home loss to Georgia Tech on Saturday as -4.5 favorites. In a way the Golden Eagles get the next best thing though, a chance to get the tournament jitters out of the way by beating up on the last place team in the ACC in 4-win Louisville.

BC was able to snap a three game losing streak to the Cardinals with a 75-62 win at home on January 25th to barely cover the -9.5 number. Makai Ashton-Langford and Quinten Post both went for 20+ points for the Golden Eagles in that game, but Post’s status could be in jeopardy on Tuesday after injuring his ankle early in the regular season finale over the weekend.

Boston College would take a hit if their leading scorer Post (15.2 ppg) is unable to go, but Louisville is also really, really bad. The Cardinals posted the worst offense in the ACC during the regular season (64.0 ppg) to go along with the second worst defense (75.6) while the Golden Eagles were 11th and 8th respectively in those categories.

Louisville vs Boston College Prediction & Pick

The line does seem a bit lower than it should considering Boston College was a -9.5 point favorite during the regular season matchup. That game was also at home for the Golden Eagles, but the neutral site doesn’t change just how rough a season it’s been for the Cardinals – one they are anxious to get over with.

Pick: Boston College -6
