The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers will square off for game two of their series on Tuesday night. The Brewers went into Dodgers stadium and won game 1, behind a three run homer by Eric Thames. The Dodgers will try to bounce back and even up the series on Tuesday night.

This series could be a MLB playoff preview, as both teams look to be in great shape heading into the final two months of the season. The Dodgers lead the National League West, but have teams hot on their trail. The Brewers trail the Cubs by 1 game in the NL Central, but lead the Wild Card race in the National League.  The Los Angeles Dodgers are big favorites in this game on Tuesday.

Brewers Bullpen Continues Dominance

The Milwaukee Brewers feature one of the deepest and most talented bullpens in baseball, and they were on display in the series opener. Flame thrower, Josh Hader, earned the win on Monday night, improving to 4-0 on the season. Hader has appeared in 35 games for the Brewers and has a sparkling earned run average of 1.34. The lefty is joined by All-Star Jeremy Jeffress in the Brewers bullpen.

First baseman Jesus Aguilar continues to provide the power in the middle of the Milwaukee lineup. The 2018 All-Star selection has blasted 25 home runs and 74 runs batted in to lead the Brewers team. The Brewers recently acquired Mike Moustakas from the Kansas City Royals, and now feature one of the best lineups in MLB.

Dodgers Much Improved Offense

The Dodgers had an inconsistent offense for much of the 2018 season, but made a huge upgrade by adding Manny Machado via trade. The superstar shortstop immediately makes the Dodgers one of the most feared lineups in baseball. Machado has hit two homers since coming to Los Angeles, including a 9th inning blast on Monday night. The Dodgers will try to keep pace with the Brewers on Tuesday night.

Young Walker Buehler is scheduled to make the start for the Dodgers in game two of the series. Buehler has made 11 starts for Los Angeles this season, and is 4-3 in those starts. His 3.92 earned run average in those starts will be put to the test against a tough Brewers team. The Dodgers will need a strong start from the youngster if they are going to grab the win.

Dodgers Bounce Back

The Brewers continue to put a ton of pressure on the Cubs in the NL Central playoff race. Milwaukee has had a dominant pitching staff all season, but the offense is now starting to round into shape. The Brewers will try to slug their way to another win over the Dodgers on Tuesday night.

The Dodgers made the huge move of acquiring Manny Machado last week, but they need the rest of the team to step up as well. Los Angeles was unable to get anything going on offense on Monday night. Look for the Dodgers to bounce back in game two of the series, and find a way to defeat the Brewers. Take the Los Angeles Dodgers -173 over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.
