Lakers vs. Clippers is on the menu this Wednesday night, and we are here to cover that clash. The LA will stop for the moment to see these two franchises competing, and when one such game comes along, we are pretty sure that the entire NBA community will do the same.

Before Betting on the Lakers vs. Clippers

The Lakers are 31-28, struggling to keep the play-in spot because they sit tenth in the West right, and every game is important for the purple and gold. They’ve lost the last one in Phoenix, against the Suns, 123-113. The Lakers were constantly losing, and even though they held on closely, they didn’t have the power to jump over the rivals.

Anthony Davis had 22 points and 14 boards, while LeBron scored 28 with 12 assists and seven boards, shooting 12-for-19. D’Angelo Russell ended the night with 20 buckets and seven assists. The problem was the bench, which contributed with 16 buckets only.

LA Clippers posted subsequent losses and wins in the past five events, and they won’t have Paul George for this one. After three straight meetings on the road, where they won two, the Clips were back home against the Kings, yet lost that match, 123-107.

Poor three-point shooting was a major problem for the hosts, 8-for-27, who played without Paul George. PG will skip tonight’s events as well because of a knee injury. Kawhi and James Harden had 20 points each, with the note that Leonard added eight boards, and the Beard eight assists, but shooting threes 2-for-10. Norman Powell had 21 buckets and five threes hit.

Both teams are playing good basketball at home (both play at the Arena), where they emphasize the offense. That’s the reason for choosing over 235.5 points as our pick. We doubt that the Clippers can have two poor offensive performances in a row, even though George won’t play, while on the other side, the Lakers are all about the offense.
