Conte to See His Team Finishing Campaign Honorably

With two rounds to go, Juve has seven points more than Inter, and they already secured the title. Inter meanwhile, might end up as fourth or as second, which isn’t very important at the moment. Yet, for Inter’s head coach Antonio Conte this is a big deal, and he doesn’t want to end the campaign at home with failure.

If it weren’t for Nerazzurri’s slips against Fiorentina and Roma, they would be in a solid position when talking about the pursuit of the title, but since that did happen, waiting for the next season is the only consolation for this crew.

By the way, just one in the last 10 games Inter played saw under 2.5 goals, and also, over the last four three ended with them keeping clean sheets and scoring two goals.

Sensi, Vecino and Gagliardini are all out for this event.

Napoli’s Preparing for Barca

Gattuso and his crew won Coppa Italia earlier, and on their quest towards that piece of silverware, they would eliminate Inter. Capturing one trophy is a massive success for Parthenopeans, and it completely changed their perspective on this season. From one pale and negative campaign, it became one of the better in history.

And it might be even greater, if Gattuso’s side uses the current situation in Barcelona and eliminates the Catalonian titan. After 1-1 in the first game, Napoli’s chances are much higher than anyone could have guessed, especially after recent turmoil in Barca’s locker room and Messi’s alleged unhappiness.

Llorente and Mertens are not playing, while Manolas’ chances are slim.

Head to Head Games

We saw three matches between these two sides during this year. Two were in Coppa Italia. The first was in Milan, where Napoli won 0-1, and after that came the rematch which saw a draw, 1-1. The Serie A event in Naples concluded with 1-3 for Inter, who was in fantastic shape back then, rolling over any team which stands in its way.

Prediction

Goals are in our focus here, with over 2.5 as the top pick. The moneyline there is -125. It is a match without some strong competitive meaning, which would allow both sides to be a little bit more aggressive in the attack. Also, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score is a good choice, with the odds at +100.
