With the return of Aaron Rodgers looming, the Jets want to make sure it’s worthwhile for the star QB to make a comeback at all. New York (4-7) is essentially in a must-win spot on Sunday at home against a Falcons (5-6) team that leads the NFC South despite having a sub .500 record. Fans of offense might want to avert their eyes from this game that the offshore sportsbooks have tagged with the lowest O/U of the week at right around 33 points.

Before Betting on Falcons vs Jets Week 13

QB issues will be the main narrative of this game, so much so that the (newly) 40-year-old Rodgers gets the most attention of any signal caller and he’s not even playing due to his torn Achilles minutes into the 2023 season. The Jets have a great defense – they also have Tim Boyle at QB for a team that has scored 13 points or less in five straight games.

Atlanta isn’t going to need a ton of offense to cover this -2 point spread, but they also don’t have a ton of offense. The Falcons – like the Jets – continue to play QB roulette and seem to be sticking back with Desmond Ridder for the time being. Ridder was benched for a bit, but has returned and overall the Falcons have actually scored 23+ points in four straight game.

Atlanta would seem like a solid play here considering the Jets are in a bit of a skid, but the Falcons are also just 1-3 on the road this season. That being said, New York is just 2-4 playing at MetLife Stadium.

Falcons vs Jets Week 13 Prediction & Pick

This looks like a good old fashioned coin flip game but the Jets’ lack of offense is the most daunting narrative here. Atlanta actually has a lot of weapons on offense between Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts which will put pressure (eventually) on a Jets defense that will tire because their own offense is so inept.

Pick: Falcons -2
