A grudge will be settled in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, October 12, as Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke collide for the second time this year. A pulsating contest is likely if their Bad Blood showdown in March is anything to go by. But, which heavyweight will gain the upper hand in this fascinating showdown?

Before Betting On Fabio Wardley vs Frazer Clarke II

A blockbuster rematch is set for Saudi Arabia in mid-October as Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke lock horns. The two British heavyweights collided in London at the end of March, with a tight draw ruled by the judges. However, there was a feeling that Clarke had the upper hand in the first showdown, with one judge scoring the bout 115-112.

There will be additional pressure on the reigning British, Commonwealth, and WBO European heavyweight champion in this bout, as he recently signed with Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions. Wardley is yet to suffer a professional defeat during his career, winning 17 of his 18 bouts, and 16 victories coming by way of knockout.

However, Clarke will feel as though he has the beating of Wardley in this rematch after coming close to claiming the titles in London. The 32-year-old enjoyed an excellent amateur career, winning gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2018, and the bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Since turning professional, he has accumulated a near-perfect record, winning eight of his nine bouts, with six victories coming by knockout. His momentum was halted slightly following the draw against Wardley earlier this year, but his dominance in the ring was highlighted in 2023 with stoppage victories against David Allen and Bogdan Dinu.
