It will be the third time Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards face each other. Only now, Edwards is the one who defends the UFC title, not the Nigerian Nightmare.

Before Betting on Edwards vs. Uman III

After defeating Usman last August, Leon Edwards is making his first defense of the 170-pound title. Despite entering the fight as a massive underdog, Edwards beat Kamaru via knockout, thanks to a devastating head kick he landed late in the fifth round.

It was Edwards’ tenth straight victory, with the stretch starting in 2015 and his loss to Usman. The 30-year-old warrior combines skillful kickboxing, solid wrestling technique, and great clinch work.

When Edwards smashed Kamaru Usman, his 19-fight winning streak ended. Before that, the “Nigerian Nightmare” had successfully defended his welterweight title five times and was ranked as the UFC’s No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter.

Usman is one of the best fighters in the organization’s history. He holds a 15-1 record in the promotion, making him the MMA’s elite figure. Kamaru is the whole package, starting with his power and speed, and he managed to evolve from a rough wrestler into one of the best strikers in the division.

We like Rocky, but it would be stupid not to realize that he won the last clash with a massive amount of luck. Kamaru was ripping apart the Englishman, and we expect him to do the same tonight.
