A huge Big 12 game will be played on Monday from the Fred Bramlage Coliseum. The Kansas Jayhawks will take on the Kansas State Wildcats. The Kansas Jayhawks are 17-4 on the season, and 4-1 away from home. The Jayhawks lead the Big 12 standings with their 6-2 record. The Jayhawks are coming off a home win over Texas A+M on Saturday.

The Kansas State Wildcats are 16-5 on the season, and 5-3 when playing in conference games. Bruce Weber’s team is 11-2 at home this season, including their home win on Saturday over the Georgia Bulldogs. The Kansas Jayhawks are -2 over the Kansas State Wildcats in Big 12 Basketball on Monday.

Jayhawks Atop the Big 12

The Kansas Jayhawks are seeking their 14th straight Big 12 title. The Jayhawks started last week th in the nation, but then they fell to Oklahoma on Tuesday. Devonte Graham is the top scorer for Kansas with 17.3 points per game. Last time these two teams played, the Jayhawks won at home 73-72.

Wildcats Seeking Huge Upset

Bryce Weber and his Kansas State Wildcats are putting together a fantastic season with 16 wins in 21 games. Before Big 12 play started, the Wildcats lost to Arizona State and Tulsa. In Big 12 play, the Wildcats have dropped games to West Virginia, Texas Tech and Kansas. Those are the other three teams at the top of the Big 12 standings.

The Wildcats are scoring 76.3 points per game, and allowing teams to score 66.6 per game. The defense ranks right at the Top 50 in the country. Kansas State is led in scoring by Barry Brown with 17.3 points per game. Dean Wade, Kamau Stokes and Xavier Sneed are combining for over 40 per game.

Kansas and Kansas State play Thriller

The Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats have played in some great rivalry games in the past. Kansas has gotten the best of the Wildcats, but with this game in Manhattan, you never really know what the result will be. The Kansas State defense is the big key. If they bring their A game, they can pull an upset here.
