The 6-4 Bengals visiting the 7-3 Titans looks like a pretty evenly matched game, and the offshore sportsbooks agree with Tennessee being just a slight underdog at home. Cincinnati has won four of their last five while the Titans have won 7 of 8 after an 0-2 start to the season. This is a revenge game for Tennessee, who lost 19-16 at home to the Bengals in last year’s divisional playoff round.

Before Betting on Bengals vs Titans

Despite losing last year’s playoff matchup, Tennessee was able to make things miserable for Cincinnati QB Joe Burrowsacking him a playoff record 9 times. Jeffery Simmons had 3 of those sacks in last year’s meeting, but he’s questionable Sunday with an ankle injury. Fellow DL Denico Autry, who leads Tennessee with 7 sacks, is out with a knee injury so the Bengals do get a break there.

The Titans are not the only team facing some injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s matchup, as the Bengals will be without leading rusher Joe Mixon (concussion) while it also doesn’t look like Ja’Marr Chase returns from his hip injury.

With no Mixon or Chase, the Titans defense should be the deciding factor here. They’ve only let one opponent reach 20 points in the last seven games, and that was a 20-17 OT loss to Kansas City. Tennessee is only allowing 18.5 ppg.

Bengals vs Titans Prediction & Pick

The books have this one as a toss-up game, which just goes to show how underrated the Titans are – especially their defense. With Cincinnati being a bit dinged up on offense and Tennessee able to get a lot of pressure on Burrow in last year’s meeting look for the Titans to win this one.
Pick: Titans +1.5
