Massive Test for Barcelona

Those 8-2 are still ringing in the ears of Barca’s fans. They are afraid of the upcoming game, because Blaugrana struggles to provide efficiency, and on top of that, the atmosphere surrounding the club is not good at all. More than a billion and a half dollar debt, all the dirty secrets emerging from the past, and various legal actions against the former management are undoubtedly taking a toll on Barca’s players.

In three games since the campaign started, Barcelona didn’t lose, posting two wins and a draw. Those victories were at home, to Real Sociedad, 4-2 and Getafe, 2-1. A draw was in Bilbao vs. Athletic, 1-1.

As you can see, Barca’s defense is vulnerable, which will be a colossal problem against Bayern Munich. The offense is doing a solid job, but struggles in the backline aren’t very encouraging.

Bayern to Continue The Rampage

In the latest five games, Bayern Munich scored 27 goals. Ok, they did net a dozen times against Bremer in the DFB Pokal Cup, but in the remaining four games, the Bavarians scored at least three times.

The most recent event took place in Leipzig, where Bayern met its biggest rival in the last two years, RB. Nagelsmann, who led the Bulls’ in the past couple of years, didn’t have any mercy towards his former team, and the champs rolled over the hosts, 1-4.

Bayern didn’t change its style of play despite the switch at the head coaching position. Nagelsmann accepted Flick’s philosophy, and for now, he didn’t make any corrections in the tactics.

Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich Head to Head Matches

Barca and Bayern played 11 times so far in history. Bayern has seven wins; Barca only has two. The last game between these teams was in 2020, when Bayern humiliated the Spaniards with 8-2. It was one of the biggest blows in Barcelona’s history.

Barcelona vs. Bayern Prediction and Pick

This is an easy one for us. Despite being a big name, Barcelona is much more inferior than Bayern right now. Blaugrana’s team is far weaker, and the defensive troubles further back up our decision to bet on Bayern’s victory.

With all due respect, we really believe that at the moment, Barcelona has nothing to hope for against the steaming Germans, who are thirsty for blood in recent times.
