Since that defeat, he has bounced back to form by landing six straight victories.
His most recent success was achieved at the end of September, as he scored a split decision win against Murat Gassiev to win the WBA Intercontinental heavyweight title. His ability to stand his ground against some of the best will pose serious questions of Joshua in Saudi Arabia.
