The road hasn’t been easy for #8 Arkansas – the second lowest seed left in the tournament behind #9 Florida Atlantic – but the Razorbacks have looked impressive in reaching the Sweet 16. That being said, reaching the second weekend of the tournament is old news for Eric Musselman’s squad as they also played into the Sweet 16 last season. Although UConn thought they’d be playing #1 seed Kansas here, they are on alert but also looking good with two 15+ point wins last weekend.

The Razorbacks – once again aside from FAU – are the darlings of the tournament through the first weekend of play especially as video of Musselman dancing shirtless has gone viral. The Huskies have to be thinking “what about us” as everybody has basically already penciled in Arkansas for the Elite 8. UConn rolled through 87-63 in the first round and then beat a good St. Mary’s team 70-55 on Sunday. Connecticut won 8 of their last 9 to close out the regular season and oddsmakers are at least taking note of the talent of this team making them a -4.5 favorite.
