Many people think that the winner of Saturday night’s Miami vs Connecticut Final 4 matchup will be the favorite to win the National Championship on Monday night. Both teams have had a great run through March Madness 2023, but it’s UConn that has been pegged as the -5.5 favorite against the Hurricanes.

The Huskies have rolled through the tournament though, winning by 15+ points against Iona (87-63), St. Mary’s (70-55), Arkansas (88-65), and Gonzaga (82-54) the last two weekends.
Saturday night’s game should be a high scoring affair (O/U 149) and Miami has some value at +5.5 considering the way Jordan Miller shot against Texas, going 7-7 from the field and 13-13 from the FT line to score 27 points. The Hurricanes also have ACC Player of the Year Isaiah Wong who has averaged 17.5 ppg in the postseason as well as Nijel Pack who had 26 points in the win over #1 Houston.
The Hurricanes have some talent, but UConn is pretty star-studded in their own rights led by Adama Sanogo who has averaged 18.2 ppg this postseason. Jordan Hawkins has scored 20+ against both Arkansas and Gonzaga so the Huskies will put up their fair share of points in this matchup.
