Valkyries are seeking their fourth straight victory

After suffering back-to-back losses to the Lynx and Aces, Golden State has reeled off three in a row. In their last outing, this group defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 78-58.

This one got out of hand in a hurry. The Valkyries made eight of their first 13 shots and jumped out to a 15-point lead after the first quarter. The home team increased its lead to 45-26 en route to a dominating 20-point win.

Gabbie Williams led four double-digit scorers with 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field. She also had four rebounds. Kaila Charles led the bench unit with 13 points, eight boards, and five dimes in 22 minutes of action. With three straight victories under its belt, Golden State looks to keep its momentum rolling against a Dallas squad coming off a wire‑to‑wire dismantling of the Las Vegas Aces.

Dallas is riding the wave of an impressive showing against the defending champs

Following a 7-4 start, the Wings have won two of their last three games. Their latest triumph was a one-sided 96-66 victory against the Las Vegas Aces on Monday.

Dallas put up 29 points in the first quarter and built a 28-point lead at the 3:13 mark in the second quarter. Although the Aces' 9-0 run got them within 19 at the break, the Wings held a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Arike Ogunbowale was one of five players in double figures. She led the charge with 22 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Azzi Fudd added 19 points on an efficient 8-for-9 effort from the field.

Valkyries vs Wings WNBA Pick

On the heels of three straight wins, Golden State enters this battle as a three-point favorite. Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this contest.

  • The Valkyries are 4-2 (SU) in their previous six games.
  • Golden State is 2-3 ATS in its last five outings.
  • The Wings are 6-2 (SU) in their previous eight contests.
  • Dallas is 6-2 ATS in its last eight matchups.

The series has leaned heavily toward Golden State, with the Valkyries taking three of the first four meetings between the franchises. They’ve also been strong at home, winning four of their last five at Chase Center.

Even so, both teams sit inside the top 10 on both ends of the floor, underscoring how competitive this matchup can be. But with the Valkyries owning the league’s top scoring defense and ranking second in defensive rating, the slight edge tilts toward Golden State in this Western Conference showdown.
