The action in the Stanley Cup Finals returns to Carolina on June 11, as the Hurricanes have home ice advantage against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5.
The Canes showed their offensive quality to level the series on Tuesday evening, and they will have their sights set on taking a series advantage for the first time on Thursday.

Despite dominating in the postseason, the Carolina Hurricanes are yet to hold the advantage in the Stanley Cup Finals. However, a victory in Game 5 will be an opportune occasion to sneak into the lead for the first time in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Carolina leveled the series on Tuesday, as they displayed an offensively strong display to record a 5-3 win in Vegas. Nikolaj Ehlers was a standout performer, scoring once and registering two assists. Jordan Staal also scored twice for the Canes.

The Vegas Golden Knights have twice had the lead in the Stanley Cup Finals, and they have twice surrendered that advantage.
There was hope that they would move clear in the series in Game 4, but they started slow and failed to ever regain control of the game at the T-Mobile Arena. William Karlsson, Brett Howden, and Mark Stone scored goals in the defeat. Meanwhile, Carter Hart ended the night with 23 saves from 27 shots.
