Las Vegas opened its season with four wins in its first five games. However, they enter this battle amid a two-game losing skid. This includes a 95-87 loss to the Dallas Wings on Thursday night.

The Aces won all five games against Dallas last season and appeared to be on their way to another win, leading by eight points at the break. But the Wings' improved effort at both ends of the floor propelled them to a 50-34 scoring edge in the second half, handing Las Vegas back-to-back losses for the first time this season.
A'ja Wilson led the way with 21 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Jackie Young added 15 points and seven dimes, and Chennedy Carter contributed 14 points off the bench.
After a 3-2 start, the Valkyries have produced wins in each of their last two games. This includes a narrow 90-88 victory against the Indiana Fever.
Golden State led by seven after the opening quarter before the Fever rallied to take a brief lead in the final frame. But thanks to Janelle Salaun's six straight points in crunch time, the home team held on for a dramatic two-point win.
The Valkyries' offense featured three double-digit scorers. Veronica Burton delivered a game-high 25 points, along with six rebounds and three assists. Gabby Williams finished with 19 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while Salaun led the second unit with 19 points, going 3-for-5 from deep.
