Following back-to-back losses to the Bucks and Sixers, Miami has won each of its last five games, including a 121-110 victory against the Detroit Pistons.

The Heat led by 19 points at the break. Although Detroit produced a 30-18 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter, it was not enough to prevent Miami from coming away with a double-digit win.
Tyler Herro led six double-digit scorers with 25 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Bam Adebayo contributed 24 points, nine boards, and six dimes.

On the other side, the Wizards have dropped their last eight games. This includes a 138-118 setback against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Washington pulled within four points (95-91) in the fourth quarter. But a 12-4 burst helped the Pelicans cruise to a 20-point win.
Tre Johnson scored a team-high 20 points and collected four rebounds. Trae Young finished with 17 points, eight assists, and four rebounds in his second game with the team since being traded by Atlanta.
