Dallas Hopes To Bounce Back From Loss Against Indiana

After a surprising 68-55 victory against the Atlanta Dream earlier this week, the Wings came up short against the Indiana Fever in a 94-86 loss on Friday night.

Paige Bueckers scored a team-high 27 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. She also tallied six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Arike Ogunbowale added 15 points, converting five of her 12 shot attempts.

Indiana led by as many as 23 points in the first half before Dallas battled back to tie the game at 82 apiece. Unfortunately, Aari McDonald’s basket ignited a 9-0 run that helped the Fever hold on for an eight-point victory.

The Mystics Seeking Their First Four-Game Win Streak Of The Season

Following a 92-91 loss to the Atlanta Dream a week ago, the Mystics have reeled off three straight wins. This includes a 94-83 victory against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night.

Rookie Sonia Citron guided an offense in which four starters reached double figures. She scored a team-high 21 points on 7-for-13 shooting overall and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Sug Sutton added 17 points and five rebounds while knocking down three of her five attempts from 3-point range.

The short-handed Mystics led by 18 points heading into the final frame before Las Vegas trimmed the deficit to seven points. Washington pushed the lead back to nine points following an offensive rebound and putback by Shakira Austin with 1:31 left to play.

Wings vs Mystics WNBA Pick

Dallas is ranked eighth in points per game (81.4) and 10th in scoring defense. On the other side, Washington is ranked 10th in offensive rating and eighth in defensive efficiency (102.7 points per 100 possessions).

The Mystics have won the last four meetings between these franchises, including a three-point victory five days ago.

With that in mind, look for this trend to continue when these teams square off on Saturday night.
