Golden State’s Veronica Burton nailed a 3-pointer to get the home team within 74-72 with 45 seconds left in regulation. However, Napheesa Collier responded with a baseline jumper, helping Minnesota hold on for a six-point victory.
Janelle Salaun and Kaila Charles each finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Illana Rupert also contributed 15 points and grabbed six rebounds.
