  • The Seattle Storm are 16-13 and have the third-best record in the Western Conference.
  • The Minnesota Lynx own the league’s best record at 24-5.
  • These squads previously faced off on Jun. 11, with the Storm coming out on top 94-84.

One of the games on Tuesday’s WNBA slate features the Seattle Storm hosting the Minnesota Lynx. Can Seattle snap its two-game skid in our Storm vs Lynx pick?

Seattle Hopes To Snap Two-Game Skid

After securing a 101-85 win against the Connecticut Sun, the Storm have dropped their last two contests. This includes a 78-74 loss to the Indiana Fever on Sunday afternoon.

Fast forward to the fourth quarter, Seattle trailed 73-61 at the 4:41 mark. However, the Storm used a 13-2 run to get within 75-74. Indiana’s Kelsey Mitchell converted a layup inside with eight seconds left to play.

The Storm were unable to hit a game-tying 3-pointer, and Aliyah Boston’s free throw iced the game for the road team. Nneka Ogwumike paced the offense with 16 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

The Lynx Coming Off Impressive Win Against Las Vegas

Following a 90-86 setback against the Atlanta Dream, Minnesota has won its last two games, including a dominant 111-58 victory against the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday.

The Lynx overwhelmed Las Vegas in this contest. And thanks to a stretch in which it hit nine consecutive 3-pointers, Minnesota led by a sizeable 67-33 lead at the break.

The Lynx went on to outscore the Aces by a 44-25 margin in the second half, including a 19-9 edge in the final frame. Kayla McBride led the scoring charge with 24 points, five rebounds, and three steals. She was also 8-for-10 from beyond the arc, helping Minnesota break the record for the most significant victory margin on the road.

Storm vs Lynx WNBA Pick

Seattle is ranked ninth in offensive efficiency and has the third-lowest defensive rating in the association. On the other side, Minnesota leads the field in offensive and defensive efficiency.

Although the Storm won the most recent matchup in this series, the Lynx hold a 3-2 edge in the previous five meetings. Given how well they play on both ends of the floor, look for the Lynx to win in what should be a competitive battle.
