One of the games on Tuesday’s WNBA slate features the Seattle Storm hosting the Indiana Fever. Will Seattle extend its win streak in our Storm vs Fever pick?
Seattle Seeks Fourth Consecutive Victory
The Storm are riding a three-game win streak, including an 89-79 victory against the New York Liberty on Sunday.
The standout performers in this contest were Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins. Ogwumike led the way with 26 points, seven rebounds, and two steals on 12-for-17 shooting. Diggins added 20 points and six assists, but converted only six of her 17 shot attempts.
Seattle led by seven points through the first three quarters before New York was within 82-79 late in the fourth quarter. But thanks to a crucial 3-pointer from Ogwumike, Seattle extended its advantage to six points and held on for a double-digit victory.
Indiana Looks To Snap Two-Game Slide
Following an 88-71 win against the Connecticut Sun, the Fever enter this matchup amid a two-game skid. Their most recent setback was a 89-81 defeat at the hands of the Las Vegas Aces.
Aliyah Boston was one of three starters who reached double figures, leading the charge with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Kelsey Mitchell finished with 20 points, including three 3-pointers, and Caitlin Clark contributed 19 points and 10 dimes.
The game was tied at 69-69 in the final frame before the Aces used a 9-2 burst to take the lead for good. Las Vegas outscored Indiana 31-20 in the game’s final 10 minutes en route to its fifth straight win in this series.
Storm vs Fever WNBA Pick
Seattle is ranked fifth in offensive and defensive rating. Meanwhile, Indiana is ranked fourth in scoring and seventh in points allowed, giving up 78.4 points per outing.
Last season, the Storm took three of the four meetings between the franchises. Given how well they’ve been playing, that success should carry over into this matchup.
