Following a two-game losing streak, Los Angeles has won its last two contests, including an 88-83 victory against the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday night.

The Sparks clung to a one-point lead (63-62) after three quarters. But thanks to Dearica Hamby scoring 16 of her 25 points in the final frame, Los Angeles managed to hold on for a five-point win.

Hamby poured in 25 points, along with nine rebounds and five assists. Kelsey Plum added 17 points and five assists. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough because Seattle defeated Golden State 74-73 to earn the final postseason berth.

Las Vegas led by eight points late in the third quarter and used an 11-0 burst to increase its advantage to 57-38. And thanks to a 26-15 scoring edge in the fourth quarter, Las Vegas rolled to its second straight dominant win against Chicago.

Jackie Young tied for team-high scoring honors with 15 points. She also tallied seven assists and two steals. Jewell Loyd put up 15 points as well and knocked down five of her seven attempts from 3-point range.
