Reese Seeking Next Steps with Sky
Angel Reese had an excellent rookie season with the Sky. In 34 games, she averaged 13.6 ppg and 13.1 rpg. Setting the rookie record for double-doubles, Reese’s abilities as a two-way player were instantly present. In the offseason, she work on her interior shooting, hoping to improve upon her 39.1% FG shooting rate in 2024. The Sky’s new assets should help her space the floor.
Clark in MVP Conversation with Fever
Caitlin Clark was exactly as advertised as a rookie 1st-overall pick. In 40 games, she averaged 19.2 ppg, 8.4 apg, and 5.7 rpg. Clark’s offensive talent is palpable, but she’s also been working on her defense lately to become a more complete player. Already considered one of the top-10, if not top-5 players in the league, Clark is the key to Indiana’s chances of making a playoff run.
Chicago Sky vs Indiana Fever WNBA Pick
Indiana currently has a more complete roster, making them the favorite in this game. Being at home in front of a sold-out crowd will also add to their advantage. As capable as the Sky are, they will be facing an uphill battle to win this one. That being said, Chicago is healthier now than last season and brought in some new faces. They should keep it close enough to cover.
