Dream Seeking Their Third Win In Four Games

Atlanta’s recent two-game win streak ended with an 81-75 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday night.

The Dream were ahead by a bucket at the break and led 48-46 with 4:16 left in the third quarter. But Las Vegas responded with a 15-0 run that included back-to-back 3-pointers from A’ja Wilson. The game-changing stretch gave the Aces a 61-48 lead after three quarters, and they held on the rest of the way.

Brionna Jones scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds while shooting 9-for-13 from the field. Rhyne Howard also scored 19 points, along with seven assists and four rebounds.

Dallas Hopes To End Six-Game Skid

On the other side, the Wings find themselves amid another long losing streak. Their latest setback includes a 101-85 defeat at the hands of the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday.

Dallas got off to a good start, leading 30-21 after the first quarter. Connecticut bounced back, outscoring the Wings 62-40 over the next two quarters and led 89-77 with 7:31 left to play.

A free throw from Amy Okonkwo pulled Dallas within 95-92 before Tina Charles’ basket ended Connecticut’s five-minute scoring drought, allowing the road team to hold for a six-point victory.

Aziaha James was one of five players who reached double figures for Dallas. She scored a team-high 22 points, grabbed five rebounds, and handed out six assists. Maddy Siegrist finished with 15 points, two rebounds, and three assists.

Dream vs Wings WNBA Pick

Atlanta ranks second in both offensive and defensive efficiency. Meanwhile, Dallas is ninth in scoring and 12th in points allowed per outing (87.4).

The Dream have taken two of the three head-to-head matchups this season. Furthermore, Dallas has dropped 11 of its previous 12 contests. Simply put, Atlanta wins this one convincingly.
