  • The Atlanta Dream are 5-3 and own the secondbest record in the Eastern Conference.
  • The Indiana Fever are 4-4 and trail Atlanta by one game in the standings.
  • These teams previously faced each other on May 22, with the Fever winning that game 81-76.

One of the games on Tuesday’s WNBA slate features the Atlanta Dream hosting the Indiana Fever. Can Atlanta get back into the win column in our Dream vs Fever pick?

Atlanta Looks To Bounce Back From Loss Against Connecticut

After a 1-2 start, the Dream reeled off four straight wins before dropping an 84-76 decision against the Connecticut Sun on Friday night.

Brittney Griner and Rhyne Howard were the headline performers for Atlanta. Griner scored 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the floor, and she collected six rebounds. Howard also had 18 points, along with six assists and four rebounds.

Atlanta trimmed a 13-point deficit to one point (62-61) entering the fourth quarter. However, this group was outscored 22-15 in the final frame, thanks to a five-minute stretch in which the team produced just one field goal.

Fever Aim To Extend Their Win Streak To Three Games

Meanwhile, following a three-game skid, the Fever enter this matchup riding a two-game win streak, including a dominating 79-52 victory against the Chicago Sky on Saturday.

Kelsey Mitchell was one of three starters who reached double figures. She led the way with 17 points and five rebounds. Natasha Howard added 13 points and five rebounds, while Aliyah Boston contributed 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Already ahead by a comfortable 13-point cushion (41-28) at the break, the Fever broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring Chicago 27-11, extending the lead to 29 points.

The Fever shot 46 percent from the field, knocked down 11 3-pointers, and had 20 assists on 27 made shots.

Dream vs Fever WNBA Pick

The Dream have the third-best offense in the league and are ranked seventh in defensive rating. On the other side, Indiana holds down the No. 3 spot in both scoring (84.5 PPG) and points allowed (76.4 PPG).

Given that the Fever have won four of the previous five meetings between the franchises, look for them to emerge victorious in a close one.
