Las Vegas Shooting For Third Consecutive Victory

After suffering back-to-back losses to the Indiana Fever (80-70) and Minnesota Lynx (109-78), the Aces have won their last two games. This includes an 89-74 victory against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday.

The game was over early as Las Vegas raced out to a 31-18 lead after the opening quarter, thanks to A’ja Wilson knocking down her first eight shots. The Aces increased their advantage to 14 points at the break, and Los Angeles never recovered.

Wilson and Jackie Young were the top performers. Wilson finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Young contributed an impressive triple-double that consisted of 18 points, 11 boards, and 11 dimes.

Las Vegas is 0-2 against Minnesota this season.

Lynx Look To Remain Dominant Against Conference Rival

Following a 90-86 setback against the Atlanta Dream, Minnesota bounced back with a 100-93 victory against the defending champion New York Liberty on Wednesday night.

Minnesota saw a 92-77 advantage in the final frame shrink to four points following the Liberty’s 11-0 run. Fortunately, order was restored when Napheesa Collier converted a 3-point play, pushing the lead back to seven points with 50.1 seconds left to play.

Collier was one of four players who reached double figures. She paced the offense with 30 points and nine rebounds on 9-for-16 shooting. Kayla McBride registered 24 points, five assists, and three rebounds. She also converted five of her nine attempts from deep.

Aces vs Lynx WNBA Pick

Las Vegas is ranked eighth in scoring and ninth in points allowed per outing. On the other side, Minnesota leads the association in both offensive and defensive efficiency.

The Lynx have won the previous five meetings between the franchises, all by double-digit margins. Given that fact, look for Minnesota’s dominance to continue when these teams take the court on Saturday afternoon.
