One of the games on Friday’s NBA slate features the Milwaukee Bucks hosting the New York Knicks. Which team gets back into the win column in our Bucks vs Knicks pick?
Bucks Hope To Snap Two-Game Losing Skid
After posting back-to-back victories against the Los Angeles Lakers (118-89) and the Sacramento Kings (114-108), the Bucks have dropped their last two games, including a 127-117 setback against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.
Brook Lopez was the headline performer in this contest, guiding an offense in which all five starters reached double figures. He finished with 26 points on 12-for-17 shooting from the field. He also had seven rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.
Gary Trent Jr. added 16 points and four boards, while Taurean Prince chipped in with 15 points and five assists.
Despite trailing through the first 31 minutes of the game, the Bucks went up by an 88-83 margin in the third quarter. However, the Nuggets quickly responded with a 13-1 burst, giving the home team a seven-point lead it would not relinquish down the stretch.
Knicks Look To Bounce Back From Double-Digit Loss Against Clippers
Following a pair of wins against the Washington Wizards (122-103) and the Dallas Mavericks (128-113), the Knicks dropped a 126-113 decision to the LA Clippers on Wednesday night.
Karl-Anthony Towns set the tone for New York, scoring 34 points, pulling down 14 rebounds, and handing out four assists.
OG Anunoby finished with 28 points, five rebounds, and three assists, connecting on three of his five attempts from beyond the arc. Mikal Bridges contributed 17 points and nine rebounds.
New York held an 81-78 advantage in the third quarter before James Harden went on a personal 11-0 run to power the Clippers to a 16-3 surge to end the period. This crucial stretch enabled LA to take a double-digit lead into the final frame.
Bucks vs Knicks Pick: Can New York Make It Five Straight Against Milwaukee?
The Bucks are 4-6 in their last 10 games. They are ranked 14th in scoring and 12th in scoring defense.
On the other hand, the Knicks—who have a three-game lead for the No. 3 spot in the conference playoff race—have gone 6-4 across their last 10 outings.
Not only has New York won four straight times this series, but all of the wins were by double-digit margins. With that in mind, look for the Knicks to extend that streak when these teams clash on Friday night.
