Belinda Bencic has rolled back the years at Wimbledon this summer. The Swiss star returned to the WTA Tour following maternity leave last year, and she has already achieved her best-ever showing at the All England Club.
However, she will face a daunting test in the quarterfinals, as she takes on seventh-seed Mirra Andreeva.
The talented Russian teenager has caught the eye at Wimbledon this year, and appears to be a Grand Slam champion in waiting. But, can she overcome her biggest challenge to date on Wednesday?

Match Preview
Mirra Andreeva looks every inch like a player who will make the breakthrough in a Grand Slam in the near future. The Russian teenager is already an Olympic silver medallist, and she reached the last eight for the second straight year at the French Open a couple of months ago.
However, her game on the grass has also improved immeasurably this summer, easing through each of the last four rounds without dropping a set. A statement win was delivered in the round of 16 after powering past Emma Navarro, dropping just five games in the process.
Belinda Bencic has already achieved her best showing at Wimbledon this summer, and the 28-year-old could be a decent chance to overcome Andreeva based on her experience.
The Swiss player battled to three-set victories in each of the second and third rounds, before she dominated 18th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova to win in straight sets in the round of 16.
Mirra Andreeva vs. Belinda Bencic Picks
Bencic’s power will be a vital part of her game against an inexperienced rival on the Wimbledon stage this week.
However, Andreeva is one of the fast-improving stars on the WTA Tour, and her performances at the All England Club have been mesmerizing to this point. Based on that, we struggle to see her exiting Wimbledon at the quarterfinals.
