Jannik Sinner holds the head-to-head advantage after winning each of the previous four meetings between the two stars.

That includes a success at the French Open earlier this year. However, Djokovic has won each of the two matches between the players at Wimbledon.

Match Preview

A heavyweight clash is set for Centre Court on Friday, as Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic collide for a place in Sunday’s final at the All England Club. Djokovic will be aiming to reach a seventh straight final, but the Serbian has lost each of the previous two.

But, a success this year would see him join Roger Federer on a record eight wins at the Grand Slam. Despite being written off for success this year, Djokovic has continued to show his freakish skills of recovery. He has dropped the opening set in each of the last two rounds. The Serbian bounced back from the same setback against Flavio Cobolli on Wednesday, before winning in four sets.

Sinner is yet to reach a Wimbledon final, but the 23-year-old has been one of the dominant forces in Grand Slam tennis in the last two years. The Italian got a lucky break in the round of 16 against Grigor Dimitrov, as his opponent was forced to retire despite holding a 2-0 lead.

In the previous round, despite sporting heavy strapping around one of his elbows, the Italian showcased some of his best skills to record a dominant straight sets win against Ben Shelton. His character was tested in that final four clash, but he will need to be fully fit for the ultimate test against Djokovic.

Jannik Sinner vs. Novak Djokovic Picks

Both of these players will have slight injury concerns ahead of the semi-final clash, which adds an intriguing element to the clash.

But, Djokovic’s dominance on the grass is extremely hard to overlook, meaning that the value in the betting is for the Serbian to come through this huge clash on Friday.
