Brazil and Haiti meet in the Group C group stage matches. Brazil enters this game as the massive favorite to defeat the underdog Haiti. They have high hopes to make a deep run in this World Cup.

Brazil was stunned by Croatia in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup, hoping to make a deeper run in 2026 as one of the top-6 teams in the world. It's been 24 years since Brazil last made a World Cup Finals, which was also their last championship. Group C shouldn't pose too much of a challenge to them, but they need to make sure to avoid any stunning upsets, especially in this game against the wide underdog in Haiti.
Making just their second World Cup appearance and first in over 50 years, Haiti is thrilled to just be in participated for the 2026 World Cup. Having dealt with brutal catastrophes in that span, such as the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, the country has already made it so far to make it back to this point. Not many expect Haiti to win against a giant like Brazil, but they have the scrappy underdog motivation to surprise people.
As exciting as it would be to see Haiti pull off an upset in this game, I wouldn't recommend putting money on it. Brazil is just too strong and has the advantage in every facet of the matchup. As the #6 ranked team in the world facing #83, it wouldn't be all that surprising to see Brazil win this game by many goals. Ultimately, expect Haiti to give enough fight to keep it close for a while, before finishing something like 5-1 Brazil.
