Meanwhile, it has also been a troubling period for the Ducks. Anaheim have dropped to third in the Pacific Division after suffering defeats in their previous five games.

Spencer Carbery's Washington Capitals will still have their sights set on a playoff spot this season. However, they will need to get their form back on track following defeats in their last two. Furthermore, they have gone 3-5-2 over their last ten.
Washington were narrowly beaten in their last outing, losing 3-2 following a shootout against the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Caps have still performed consistently at home this term, going 12-7-3. Tom Wilson has been a standout player for the franchise, accumulating a franchise-high 42 points.

There will be increased pressure on the Anaheim Ducks this week, as they bid to snap a five-game losing streak in the NHL.
Over their last ten games, the Ducks have recorded just two wins. However, it should be noted that they have suffered six regulation-time defeats across the same period.
The Ducks were easily beaten 5-2 at home by the Minnesota Wild in their latest game. Their road form also poses questions this week, as they have gone 9-9-2 away from the Honda Center.
