  • The Ravens improved to 1-1 with a double-digit win against Cleveland.
  • Detroit is also 1-1 following a dominant victory against Chicago.
  • These teams previously squared off on Oct. 22, 2023, with the Ravens cruising to a 38-6 victory.

The lone game on Monday’s NFL slate features the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Detroit Lions. Who has the edge in our Ravens vs Lions pick?

Ravens Hope To Build On Dominant Performance Against The Browns

Baltimore dropped their season opener against Buffalo, coughing up a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter. But it was a different narrative against Cleveland. Already leading 20-10, the Ravens outscored their opponent 21-7 in the final frame en route to a 41-17 victory.

Lamar Jackson completed 19 of 29 passes for 225 yards and four touchdowns. Zay Flowers nabbed seven passes totaling 75 yards.

Detroit’s Offense Coming Off A Spectacular Effort Against Chicago

The Lions didn’t reach the end zone until the fourth quarter in their 27-13 loss to Green Bay in Week 1. However, the offense had little trouble running roughshod over the Bears’ defense last week. All in all, Detroit produced five touchdowns through the air, two rushing scores, and a total of over 500 yards of offense in a wire-to-wire 52-21 rout.

Jared Goff was efficient, finishing 23 of 28 for 334 yards and five touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs accounted for 94 of the team’s 177 rushing yards. Amon-Ra St. Brown had nine catches for 115 yards, along with three touchdowns.

In a battle between two of the top three scoring teams in the league, there will be plenty of points on the scoreboard in this matchup.

Ravens vs Lions NFL Pick

Following a dominant outing against the Browns, Baltimore enters this tilt as a 4.5-point favorite. Here are a few betting trends to consider for both teams ahead of this Week 3 matchup.

  • The Ravens are 6-2 straight-up (SU) in their last eight games.
  • Baltimore is 6-2 ATS in its previous eight outings.
  • The Lions are 15-3 in their last 18 contests.
  • Detroit is 1-4 ATS in its previous five matchups against the Ravens.

Considering that Baltimore is 6-1 in the last seven head-to-head matchups and has won five straight in this series, the edge goes to the home team in this interconference matchup.
