  • The Rams took down the Texans in a defensive Week 1 matchup, winning it 14-9.
  • Tennessee struggled to score in Denver, losing to the Broncos by a score of 20-12.
  • These two teams last met on November 7, 2021, in a game that the Titans won 28-16.

The Rams and Titans meet in Tennessee in a Week 2 clash. The Titans continued to struggle on offense in a tough Week 1 defeat, and face an uphill battle to rebound this week against the defensively capable Rams.

Rams Aim to Build on Week 1 Win

The Rams improved to 1-0 in their opener, holding off Houston at home. The defense was very impressive, keeping the Texans under 10 points for the entire game. While defensive improvements could be a huge indicator of success for the Rams, their offense did not look as dangerous. Outside of WR Puka Nacua (10 receptions, 130 yards), there was not a whole lot of production. They’ll aim to bounce back in Tennessee.

Titans Desperate for a Victory

Tennessee drew a tough Week 1 matchup on the road against a very capable Broncos defense. While rookie QB Cam Ward started strong, a poor game plan forced him to take several low quality shots down the field towards the end. The Titans coaching staff needs to do a better job of taking advantage of Ward’s strengths as he continues to develop. They need to start by trusting him more against the Rams this week.

Rams vs Titans NFL Pick

The Titans should eventually improve as Cam Ward gets adjusted to the NFL and their overhauled roster begins to mesh. Still, Tennessee is likely in for another very long season as their rebuild continues. If their defense plays well again, they may cover at home, but it’s more likely the Rams win this by a touchdown.
