One of the games on Sunday’s NFL slate features the Las Vegas Raiders hosting the Chicago Bears. Who has the edge in our Raiders vs Bears pick?
Raiders Hope To Bounce Back From Poor Performance Against Washington
The Commanders were missing key players going into this matchup. This includes Jayden Daniels (knee), Austin Ekeler, and Noah Brown. However, Las Vegas trailed 34-10 through three quarters en route to a 41-24 loss.
Geno Smith finished 19 of 29 for 289 yards and three touchdowns. Tre Tucker led the aerial assault, catching eight passes for a total of 145 yards and three touchdowns.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as the Raiders were just 3-for-14 on third downs and the defense gave up 201 rushing yards.
Chicago Aims To Build On Impressive Win Over The Cowboys
The Bears ended a two-game losing streak by defeating the Dallas Cowboys by a 31-14 margin in Week 3.
Following a 52-21 defeat against Detroit in Week 2, Chicago had one of its better performances in the Caleb Williams era, racking up 385 yards on offense.
Williams completed 19 of 28 passes for 298 yards and four touchdowns. Even more important, it was the first game of his NFL career in which he was not sacked.
Is this a sign of things to come for this Bears team, or was the outing against Dallas more of an aberration?
Raiders vs Bears NFL Pick
After an impressive effort against the Cowboys, Chicago is currently a 1.5-point favorite in this contest. Here are a few betting trends to consider for both teams ahead of this Week 4 matchup.
- The Raiders are 3-13 straight-up (SU) in their last 16 games.
- Las Vegas is 2-4 ATS in its previous six home outings against Chicago.
- The Bears are 2-12 in their last 14 contests.
- Chicago has covered the spread six times in its previous eight matchups against Las Vegas.
The slight edge goes to Chicago in this battle between a pair of 1-2 ball clubs.
