The Falcons and Saints meet in a divisional clash. With a combined record of 5-15, neither team has much of a shot to make the postseason. They will look for something to build on this week.

Falcons Desperate to End Losing Skid

Atlanta fell in overtime to the Panthers on Sunday, losing their 5th game in a row. Their once 3-2 record is now 3-7, and their playoff chances have dropped to below 20%. The Falcons can still turn things around if they win out or close to it, but it seems unlikely without QB Michael Penix Jr., who suffered a torn ACL in the defeat. They need to take it one game at a time, starting with a winnable matchup against the Saints.

Saints Looking to Build on Win

The Saints snapped their 4-game losing streak in Week 10 against the Panthers, before having their bye this past week. The most crucial factor in their win was a huge turnaround by the defense, which they'll aim to keep up this week. QB Tyler Shough has improved each week since taking over as the starter. He posted a 53.2 passer rating against the Bucs in Week 8, then 81.2 in Week 9, and finally 128.9 in Week 10.

Falcons vs Saints NFL Pick

The Saints opened the week as the favorite for the first time this season. Primarily due to the Falcons losing QB Michael Penix Jr., New Orleans is now expected to win this game. I'd be wary of betting on them, though. Kirk Cousins is an experienced QB that will take advantage of Atlanta's offensive talent. Even if Shough plays well, New Orleans is outmatched by the Falcons. They should end their skid here.
