  • The Browns took their third loss in a row on Sunday, falling to the Ravens by a score of 23-16.
  • Las Vegas has now lost four games in a row, after being defeated by the Cowboys 33-16 at home.
  • These two teams last faced off back on September 29, 2024, in a game that the Raiders won 20-16.

The Browns and Raiders meet in a battle of 2-8 teams. Both are all but eliminated from playoff contention, but will still look for something to build on. Shedeur Sanders gets his first NFL start.

Browns To Give Sanders a Shot

The Browns are 0-5 on the road, seeking their first road win this week. It's been yet another disastrous season in Cleveland as they sunk to 2-8 following last week's loss to Baltimore. Looking for anything positive to build on, the Browns turned to rookie QB Shedeur Sanders in the second half of the defeat. Sanders completed just 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and an INT, but will get a fresh start this week in Vegas.

Raiders Hoping to End Losing Skid

The Raiders dropped their 4th game in a row on Sunday, falling to 2-8. It was the third time in the last four weeks that Las Vegas allowed 30 or more points. While the defense has been inconsistent, a lot of their struggles are due to the offense being unable to stay on the field. QB Geno Smith's 12-13 TD-INT ratio paints a picture of an offense that turns the ball over early and often. They need to tighten up this week.

Browns vs Raiders NFL Pick

This game has more implications for the NFL Draft order than anything else, with a pair of 2-8 teams competing. That being said, it won't be without excitement. Many will be tuning it to see if Shedeur Sanders can improve from last game during his first career start. Others will continue to tune into the Ashton Jeanty show. Based on what we saw from Sanders last week, I'd take the Raiders at home here.
