One of the games on Sunday’s NFL slate features the Cleveland Browns hosting the Green Bay Packers. Who has the edge in our Browns vs Packers pick?
Browns Aiming For First Win Of The Season
After falling to Cincinnati 17-16 in Week 1, Cleveland was upended by the Baltimore Ravens by a 41-17 margin in Week 2.
The game was somewhat close, with Baltimore leading 20-10 through the first three quarters. After coughing up a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter against the Bills in the season opener, the Ravens were better this time around, outscoring Cleveland by a 21-7 margin.
Joe Flacco completed 25 of 45 passes for 199 yards, with a touchdown and an interception. Quinshon Judkins led the ground game with 61 yards on 10 rushing attempts.
Green Bay Eyeing Three-Game Win Streak
After upending Detroit by two touchdowns in Week 1, the Packers defeated the Commanders 27-18 on Thursday night.
Green Bay held a 17-3 advantage through three quarters. And despite Washington reaching the end zone twice in the fourth quarter, the Packers managed to hold on for a nine-point win.
Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft set the tone for the offense. Love finished 19 of 31 for 292 yards and two scores. Kraft led the aerial attack with six grabs totaling a career-high 124 yards and a touchdown.
Browns vs Packers NFL Pick
After dropping its first two games, Cleveland enters this contest a 7.5-point underdog. Here are a few betting trends to consider for both teams ahead of this Week 3 matchup.
- The Browns are 0-8 straight-up (SU) in their last eight games.
- Cleveland is 1-7 ATS in its previous eight outings.
- The Packers are 11-5 across their last 16 contests.
- Green Bay has covered the spread seven times in its previous 10 matchups.
Given a disappointing 0-2 start, and the fact Cleveland has dropped four of the last five meetings in this series, the edge goes to the Packers.
