- Tennessee stomped ETSU, surging past them 72-17 to improve to 2-0.
- These teams last met on November 16, in a game that Georgia won 31-17.
Georgia and Tennessee face off this week in a top-15 SEC battle. Both teams have CFP hopes and would massively benefit from a victory in this game. Georgia is favored on the road, but faces a tough matchup.
Georgia Seeking Spot in Top-5
Georgia’s offense wasn’t as exceptional as one might hope against Austin Peay last week, but they earned a 3-score victory nonetheless. After easily dispatching their FCS opponent, the Bulldogs prepare for a top-15 matchup on the road. Gunner Stockton will aim to improve on a somewhat subpar Week 2 performance.
Tennessee Looks to Stake their Claim
Tennessee burned past their FCS foes last week, continuing to showcase their dangerous offense. They face a much tougher test this week, however, with #6 Georgia coming to town with one of the best defenses in the country. The Volunteers are hoping to finally end an 8-year winning streak by the Bulldogs.
#6 Georgia vs #15 Tennessee NCAAF Pick
The SEC is certain to field multiple CFP teams this season, with matchups such as this serving as key wins for a team’s resume. Georgia has had the better of Tennessee, winning 13 of their last 15 matchups. That being said, their offense has some concerns and may struggle to keep pace with Tennessee on the road.
